ABOUT US

We are Habitat.

East Lincoln High School is proud to offer the first high school Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter in the Carolina's led by Robert Chapp, honors Biology and Physics teacher! Established in Fall 2016, the ELHS Habitat Campus Chapter is the first of it's kind, with 4 active committees focused on building, advocating, educating and fundraising.

  • Building Committee- Students over 16 learn new skills throughout the week at club meetings and then volunteer on our construction site to demonstrate these learned skills. Students assist in the construction of new homes, repairs on existing homes, and neighborhood revitalization projects.

  • Advocating & Educating- Reading to local elementary school students through our Habitat Readers program and being an advocate for safe, decent, and affordable housing in our community through mixed media marketing and community outreach.

  • Fundraising- Supports Habitat for Humanity Lincoln County financially with multiple fundraising projects including the creation of multi-year fundraisers, a "Kids Night Out" project and an annual Spring Home and Garden show.
